Curriculum Consultation Event 30th October 2018

1st Session: 6:10pm – 6:50pm

2nd Session: 7:40pm – 8:20pm

Dear Parents

I would like to invite you to this collaborative event which will run twice on the same night and is your opportunity to have a significant input into shaping the curriculum for St. Joseph’s School.  Each session will take approximately 40 minutes allowing you time to drop your children off at the disco and return to pick them up at the end.  You are welcome to attend either session.

During the session, I will give you a brief overview of the aspects of curriculum design and the many frameworks within which a curriculum design sits.

You will identify

  • what children should be learning about (themes and contexts)
  • how children should be learning (location, environment, approaches)
  • why your child should be learning this (rationale)

I will also be looking to create a working party which will help us to identify the skills for learning, life and work and which will support engagement with local businesses.

I look forward to meeting you on the evening, please let us know if you can attend by filling out the form at the bottom of the page.  Please contact me if you have any queries.

Wishing you all a restful holiday after this busy term.

Kindest regards

Mrs Sinéad Lindsay
