Pupil Voice

At St Joseph’s we value working in partnership with our amazing pupils. This year’s pupil groups have been chosen to help give every child a voice in how the school is run.

Pupil Council meet every 2 weeks with Mrs Lacaze. They represent all the classes in the school. The pupils from P4-7 have the responsibility of liaising with P1-3 also and getting valuable feedback from them. They help to gather all the views and bring them back to meetings. Meetings also include the Head Boy & Girl and the House Captains.

House Captains lead their houses throughout the year. They were voted in democratically by all the pupils in their house after giving a presentation. They will hold meetings with their houses and provide motivation and ideas. House points are awarded by all staff and counted monthly at Achievement Assemblies (The last Monday of each month)

Digital Leaders meet fortnightly to help with the smooth running of Digital technologies in the school.

From offering suggestions to leading digital sessions in class,  they have a vital role. Look out for our new mascot, Techy Tiger, coming soon!

We will keep you posted soon with more Pupil Voice groups at St Joseph’s…
