Halloween Disco Proceeds Go To Lourdes Charity

Turning Scared into Sacred

We turned our spooky Disco into a spiritually uplifting opportunity.

A cheque for £888.74 was handed over to Hosanna House Children’s Pilgramage Trust Charity  (HCPT) at assembly on Monday. This money was the proceeds from the entrance fee and baking sales at the Halloween Disco organised by our Pupil Council.IMG_2530

This money is enough to pay for one child to travel to Lourdes plus some left over -so well done to all those who were involved in organising the Disco and a big thank you to all those who attended and helped raise the money.

The charity aim to take children who have faced adversity in their lives to Lourdes. For more information about the work of the HCPT and watch videos of their rips to Lourdes visit their website by clicking HERE

Last year two St Joseph’s pupils from P7 travelled with the group to Lourdes and came back saying what a wonderful experience it was. This year another two pupils from P7 at St Joseph’s will be taken to Lourdes at Easter time and we are sure will come back raving about the trip!
