This year’s Fairtrade Fortnight is here! We can let you know what is happening during Fairtrade Fortnight 2016 at St Joseph’s.

On the 25th of February, P4-P7 are welcoming Andy from Kool Skools, who is bringing to our school Pamela L’Intelligent. Pamela is a seamstress from the Craft Aid factory in Mauritius who make our new Fairtrade school uniform! Make sure you wear yours on that day to show it off. She will tell us her story and how Fairtrade changed her life. You will be able to ask questions at the end.

The Fairtrade Group are working really hard to plan activities so Fairtrade Fortnight 2016 is a success and enjoyed by everyone. The theme this year is ‘BREAKFAST’.

Every class will be hosting their own Big Fairtrade Breakfast activity with their own class (check individual class blogs).

On the 10th of March we will host our usual community ‘BIG BREW’ community event. This year it will be a  Big Fairtrade Breakfast. Parents and members of the community are very welcome and would encourage you to come along and join us for a cuppa and a treat from 9.30 am in the dining room. We will also have a little stall with Easter items on sale. Why don’t you take this opportunity to buy your Easter Eggs? We will be selling ‘The Real Easter Egg’ at our stall.
